The Diamante Dick.

(Q16: 03.01.2020)

“I am not embarrassed by my body. It is still my body, only that one wrong hormone had caused it to grow differently. My body is a canvas and clothes and makeup are paint- my gender identity does not confine my expression.

I have proudly created the ‘diamanté dick’ -an outfit first introducing me as an artist.

It consists of a white sweater with silicone nipples, dripping red tuelle and pearls out of ribbon scars with a knee-length, loose black skirt with white flower embroidery and a flaccid 5-inch rhinestone pink and opal penis. It is so harmonious that upon first inspection you may not notice each detail. It is viewed as a whole the same way the body should be.

Day to day, I play on the mind strings of gender questioning, “what makes a man or a woman?” through makeup and wearable art.

I’m so grateful I have these opportunities to just be my authentic self and help empower others- I want to continue to grow and spread my message: ‘expression is not limited by female or male, art is free.’”
